Arkkitehti or the Finnish Architectural Review was originally started as an insert to the Tekniska Föreningen [The Engineering Society of Finland]  and begun its independent life in 1921 as a bi-monthly, and then a monthly periodical. Through its pages marched seminal figures of Scandinavian modernism like Alvaar Aalto, Aino Aalto, and  Viljo Revell.
Credits
The National Library of Finland publishes digitized open access scans of the magazine, including downloadable PDFs, with issues from the years 1921 until 1939. Newer issues are accessible on a subscription basis by the ongoing magazine.
